Job Purpose

Lead the team responsible for defining “What, Where, and How” the ADAS system provides value to the product and ultimately the customer. Help define the strategy for implementation of features into the product. Lead the technical team creating the systems architecture, feature requirements and targets, and safety engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Create the details of the features from high level descriptions on the roadmap
  • Responsible to define the systems architecture, features, requirements and use cases
  • Responsible for defining the operational design domain for the ADAS system
  • Responsible for safety engineering of the ADAS system
  • Collaborate to write the embedded software for ADAS features
  • Work with the test and validation team to verify functional operation to technical specification and update the requirements as necessary from test feedback
  • Ensure the input into the development process is updated as issues are found during each testing phase
  • Effectively communicate with the rest of the organization when issues or failures arise

Experience

  • Experience leading a technical team
  • Experience in systems engineering and requirements development
  • Experience with safety engineering processes like SOTIF and functional safety
  • Professional experience in active safety systems
  • Demonstrated performance in a position requiring engineering technical excellence
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • High level of oral and written communication skills
