Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced leader to lead the vehicle package and integration group. This role will lead the integration and package of the current and next-generation products at Canoo.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and resolve all engineering issues cross-functionally
  • Coordinate all the engineering releases for each product line
  • Have in-depth knowledge of automotive product development, including creating requirements, DVPs, DFMEA, GD&T, component and vehicle testing, and other fundamental system engineering principles
  • Be responsible for the overall vehicle package, including all clash checks
  • Address repairability and serviceability from an engineering perspective
  • Ability to navigate the complexities of a startup and be open to frequent last-minute requests
  • Knowledge of automotive electrical architecture is a plus

      Experience

      • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar
      • 10+ years in the automotive product development and/or technology industry
      • Startup experience is a plus
      • Proven thinker
      • Have a fearless can-do attitude
      • Be willing to challenge and be challenged to drive innovation
