Job Purpose

Manage both hardware technical requirements for ADAS devices and external suppliers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical relationships with strategic suppliers for hardware and software
  • Define technical requirements for ADAS components and provide support to DREs
  • Creates and negotiates the technical requirements in the Statement of Work (SOW) with selected suppliers
  • Support purchasing team with sourcing activities
  • Be responsible for technical acceptance of supplier deliverables
  • Provide technical program management excellence
  • Work cross functionally to ensure alignment within Canoo and external supplier(s)

        Required Experience

        • Bachelors’ degree in CS/EE or a related technical field
        • 2+ years industry experience
        • ADAS device experience (ECU, Sensors, radars, and cameras)
        • Experience leading a technical team
        • Experience in requirements development
        • Demonstrated performance in a position requiring engineering technical excellence
        • High level of oral and written communication skills
        • Some travel required

        Preferred Experience

        • Experience in automotive industry
        • Purchasing experience
