Job Purpose

Canoo’s Service Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Quality Manager. The primary responsibility of this role is to design, build, and steer a customer focused quality process. Ensure the execution over the different process steps within the organization. The success is measured by customer loyalty and different industry studies for quality, appeal and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Regulation and Compliance, the person in this role will support the Quality Alliance department's objective to ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines as well as legal obligations.


  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Establish control KPIs throughout the organization
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to develop effective quality control processes
  • Devise and review specifications for products or processes

Required Experience

  • B.S. Degree in an Engineering or related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Mgmt, preferably in the Automotive Space with a proven track record
  • In depth understanding of quality control procedures and relevant legal standards
  • Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
  • Excellent math abilities and working knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods

Preferred Experience

  • Master’s degree in business administration or relevant field
  • Quality alliance experience within EV Automotive
