Job Purpose

We are seeking a hands-on Senior Manager, Tax who will manage tax reporting and compliance. This role requires advanced knowledge of ASC 740 and an ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of the quarterly and annual income tax provision, including effective tax rate, current and deferred taxes, uncertain tax positions and related footnotes
  • Manage all aspects of tax compliance, including preparation of certain key calculations and review of returns prepared by outside tax consultants
  • Special projects including R&D credits and other incentives and credits
  • Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax legislation
  • Monitor and analyze proposed and newly enacted tax accounting rules and SEC reporting pronouncements
  • Work collaboratively with accounting, FP&A, legal, HR and other functions as necessary, including review of global forecasts
  • Manage relationship with audit firm to ensure timely sign-off of all tax deliverables.
  • Preparation of technical memos to support tax positions
  • Responsible for filing of local sales, use, property and VAT returns

Experience

  • Bachelor’s in Accounting is required
  • MS in Taxation, CPA, or LLM is strongly preferred
  • 10+ years of tax experience: preferably a combination of Big Four accounting and large multinational companies
  • Significant experience with managing US tax compliance obligations, including analyzing and documenting tax positions
  • Strong project management, planning, and organizational skills including the ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
