Job Purpose

The ADAS Engineer, Physical Testing Vehicle Integration will validate of all features within the ADAS domain, integrate and calibrate ground truth measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Works with the development vehicles to provide the development platform and data collection
  • Works cross domain to ensure integration with vehicle E/E systems team
  • Ensure ADAS features are properly integrated with rest of vehicle teams
  • Builds new functionality into the development vehicles as required
  • Provides design direction review for production solutions
  • Writes test cases and test plans to support the development and validation
  • Develops technical test specifications and modify requirements as required
  • Intimate knowledge of hardware and software interfaces
  • Generates technical solutions for current, and new programs

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • ADAS testing experience
  • Experience in testing requirements development
  • High level of oral and written communication skills

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience with automotive electronic modules and sensors
  • Experience in design development of safety critical systems and components
  • Experience in automotive network protocols such as CAN and Ethernet
  • Experience in embedded programming for automotive
  • Experience with POSIX compliant OS
  • Demonstrated performance in a position requiring technical excellence
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • High level of oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in automotive industry
