Job Purpose

The Automation Test Engineer will be responsible for creating and supporting all aspects of the test automation framework for infotainment and driver apps.


  • Create Automation framework for Infotainment testing including API Testing
  • Create Automation framework for Driver App
  • Develop framework to improve the test automation pipeline
  • Develop scripts to automate the User Interface
  • Automation of test cases and test environment to achieve “lights out” testing
  • Support debug of software issues at test bench and vehicle
  • Find software bugs through manual testing, automated scripting and report investigation


  • Bachelors degree in Computer science or Software engineering or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation support for: Navigation systems, phone connectivity, Bluetooth, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Radio and Multimedia
  • Experience with major operating systems (Windows, Mac OS, Android, iOS)
  • Good understanding of infotainment related use cases/user stores for vehicle app, navigation, comfort, Productivity, Entertainment from OEMs
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages such as Perl, Ruby, Python, or Bash
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as selenium / Appium
  • Experience generating automated test reports
